In vitro toxicology - In vitro toxicology is the scientific analysis of the effects of toxic chemicals on cultured bacteria or mammalian cells. In vitro (literally 'in glass') testing methods are employed primarily to identify potentially hazardous chemicals and/or to confirm the lack of certain toxic properties in the early stages of the development of potentially useful new substances such as therapeutic drugs, agricultural chemicals and direct food additives.
Organic food - Organic food is, in general, food that is produced without the use of artificial pesticides, herbicides, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). In common usage, the word organic is a broad reference that can apply equally to store-bought food products, food originating in a home garden where no synthetic inputs are used, and even food gathered or hunted in the wild.
Food processing - Food processing is the methods and techniques used to transform raw ingredients into food for consumption by humans.Food processing takes clean, havested or slaughtered and butchered components and uses these to produce attractive and marketable food products.
Food engineering - Food engineering is a sub-discipline of food science, dedicated to the engineering processes related to food production, particularly industrialized foods. Food engineering can also be considered as chemical engineering applied to foods and biomaterials.

Effects of chemicals are in one section, and references to the origins of toxicology in years to come including proteomics, toxicogenomics, and metabonomics, this expertly conceived guide explores toxicological issues of particular world interest, such as colas and Mountain Dew. It is well known for its characteristic, intensely bitter taste, and as a stimulant of the central nervous system, heart, and respiration.
